Saint Louis.com next month. Ms. Math Mania,
Amy Ruzicka, already has created fun math puzzles for the
entire 2008-09 school year. The prizes of Borders' gift certificates
will be awarded also. |

Kids in the Kirkwood Weightlifting Club brought
home a lot of awards from the 2008 USA Weightlifting
School Age tournament. Included were eight individual
medals as well as the 13-and-under team title.

Siegfried's summer is full of golf
Twelve-year-old Jimmy Siegfried has played
in nearly a dozen golf tournaments this summer
as he tries to improve his game. In mid-July,
he went to Palm Springs, Fla., for one meet.

Bayer is linked to Alaskan village
Last month, 14-year-old Katherine Bayer
of Oakville was awaiting word from a group of
church members who were to return from an Alaskan
mission trip. They were visiting the tiny village
of Hooper Bay near the Arctic Circle.
